Jacob and Micah Brooks are the passionate founders of Leading in Faith, a nonprofit organization based in Saraland, Alabama, dedicated to guiding adolescents and their families toward personal growth, spiritual grounding, and emotional resilience.

Their journey began with individual callings—Jacob’s in Louisiana nearly a decade ago, where he stepped into mentorship and youth ministry, and Micah’s as a teenager, when early volunteer experiences ignited her heart for service. Together, they launched Leading in Faith as a shared vision: to create safe, empowering spaces where young people and families can thrive—mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

Jacob brings years of hands-on experience in youth mentorship, ministry, and program development, while Micah offers a background in business and marketing, currently serving as an administrative assistant for a general dentist in Mobile. Her organizational skills and heart for ministry complement Jacob’s leadership and creative spirit.

Outside of their nonprofit work, the couple enjoys spending time with their family, serving in their church’s youth department at Triumph, and pursuing personal hobbies—Jacob through music and guitar, Micah through interior decorating.

With a foundation rooted in faith, compassion, and intentional connection, Jacob and Micah are committed to walking alongside the next generation—helping them build stronger lives, healthier families, and deeper spiritual roots.

CARMEN JONES, DIRECTOR

Recently completing her diploma for Integrative Healing Arts, Carmen is passionate about encouraging and facilitating the pursuit of overall well being. Her goal is to spread awareness about the interconnectedness of the physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual aspects of life. Her work as a practitioner is driven by her desire to be a supportive helpmate for others.

RYAN DUNIGAN, DIRECTOR

Ryan Dunigan brings both heart and organization to her role as Administrative Assistant. A dedicated mother of two beautiful daughters and a proud native of Eight Mile, Al, Ryan also has experience as a traveling phlebotomist—demonstrating her commitment to care and service in every season of life.
